An Interview with the Author of Cafe World Secrets Guide

Because I consider Cafe World Secrets Guide as the best guide I`ve used so far, I decided to make an interview with the author of Cafe World Secrets – Troy Mitchell.

me: For the beginning of this interview, could you talk a little bit about yourself – what`s your background, how did you started with Cafe World etc.?

TM: Sure thing. Well I started playing farmville when it first launched, I was never really that good and I barely ever played but once Cafe World came out I really liked the idea of running a cafe a lot more than a farm! I started playing all the time and was really getting addicted. I started learning what dishes to cook, what got me the most profit, and even went as far as making charts for what I should cook and when. I really wanted to excel ahead of all my friends and I did very quickly. Then I started talking with some other top players and shared tips and tactics with them and really started boosting my cafe up in levels.

me: What made you to create a Cafe World guide?

TM: All my friends were struggling with the game and they were always asking how I got such a high level so fast. I decided to write a little guide for them and gave it away for free. I expanded the guide as I learned more and eventually decided to sell it once I realized how many players were looking for a guide like this.

me: What is in your opinion the worst mistake most players do in Cafe World?

TM: Wasting your coins on decoration items is a big mistake. Also you have to be sure you are cooking the right dishes, if you are going to be online for a couple hours don’t cook a dish that will take 5 hours to make. You want to keep cooking smaller dishes over and over if you have the time to play.

me: Yeah, I`ve seen many people at low levels trying to make their cafe look nicer. So at what level you recommend to start decorating a cafe (if at all)?

TM: Once you are around level 30+ you can start thinking about decorating your cafe, but even I would wait until level 40. You are going to excel much faster if you are using all your coins to buy more stoves, and cooking better recipes.

me: If you spend thousands of Cafe Coins on decorating your cafe, does it have any impact on your customers, Buzz rating, or the amount of Cafe Coins you`ll receive?

TM: No, your decorations do not affect your customers at all and that is why I recommend not wasting money on decorations until you have the coins to spare.

me: How important is planning of cooking dishes?

TM: This is the most important step, in my guide I go over all the best dishes to cook in what time frame you have to play because this is the real key to the game.

me: What if someone doesn`t have the time to play Cafe World for 12 hours per day, does he/she have any disadvantage or is there a chance to level up and earn money really quickly, if you really plan?

TM: There is definitely a chance to level up quickly if you do not have hours and hours to spend online. You can cook dishes that will take hours to finish and plan for when you will be back online again. I go over all the best recipes to cook in my guide depending on how long you will be online for.

me: I was pretty amazed by your Cafe World guide, it has many useful information, insights, screenshots and step-by-step manual. Can you summarize for someone who just got started how he/she can benefit from your CW guide?

TM: If you are just starting on Cafe World then my guide is going to be perfect for you, I outline the best layouts for your tables/ovens etc. as well as what recipes to cook when starting off to achieve the fastest level growth. Don’t worry if you think you are an advanced player there is still a lot to learn with my guide tactics.

me: Do you have any other insights you could share, in order to help others to boost their cafe?

TM: Always plan out which recipes you are going to be cooking and how much time you have available online to cook. This is the most important step and I greatly outline everything in my guide which will really help you.
