Cafe World Problems
Experiencing problems with loading your Cafe World? Or do you have a problem that your Cafe World goes really slow? Read on, I`ll tell you what to do.
Cafe World runs on Facebook as an additional application and it uses Adobe Flash player and Javascript functions. You don`t need to worry about what are those terms. The important thing for you is that if you are experiencing that your Cafe World game is slow or you having problem with loading and entering the game, there are several steps you need to check.
Cafe World Problems: Possible Solutions
- Do you have the latest Flash player? Recently the latest version is 10.0.32.18. If not, go to Adobe website
- If you have many tabs opened, close them and restart your browser (close and open again after a while).
- Are there any other things running in the background of your computer? Like a movie or something that is demanding on a performance.
- Try a different browser – if you are using Internet explorer, try Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox (Safari or Opera etc.).
- Clean up your temporary memory – cache.
Cafe World Problems: Clearing your cache
Firefox 3:
- Tools
- Clear Private Data
- Close and open again the browser
Opera 9.x
- Tools
- Preferences
- Advanced
- History
- Disk cache section – Empty now
- Close and open again the browser
Safari
- From the Safari menu, click Empty Cache.
- When asked: “Are you sure you want to empty the cache?” click Empty.
- From the Safari menu, click Preferences.
- From the Security dialog box, click Bookmarks.
- Click Show Cookies.
- From the Cookie dialog box, click Remove All.
- Close and open again the browser
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7/8
- Tools
- Internet options
- Browsing history
- Delete – Delete all
- Close and open again the browser
If it is still slow, the problem might be in your processor. Try to reduce the quality of the graphics in Cafe World. This can be done in the menu in the right down corner – the small icon of an eye (if you can`t find it, refer to my The Beginner`s Walkthrough Guide, number 15).
What definitely helps me is opening Google Chrome, without any additional tabs, and play Cafe World in it. So far the best solution I`ve come up with.

What I see from what are people repeatedly looking for, there is a big Cafe World problem with saving. I`ve done some research and I think this could be a solution for your Cafe World saving problem.
This post is a variation of the previous post Cafe World Problems.
First, I was looking for any information from Zynga, which should be the best source. I don`t know how you, but I`m not satisfied with information Zynga is releasing. Well, not releasing. I`d expect more information to be on their website.
Cafe World Problem – Browser
Anyway, I`ve found on their website recommendation about using internet browser:
Zynga games are designed to be used with most browsers, however there are several documented issues surrounding Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) and Flash Content.
If you are using IE8 we suggest that you try a new browser such as Firefox 3+, Safari 4, or Google Chrome. Internet Explorer v.6 or 7 should also be acceptable.
Then I looked at statistics from my pages to see what browsers are used by the visitors. I was surprised!
Cafe World Elite Visitors - Browser Usage
36% of visitors are still using Internet explorer. Generally I don`t recommend using Internet explorer for browsing, because it`s not safe. If you are using Internet explorer even for playing Cafe World, I`d recommend you to try a different browser. From my testing Google Chrome is the best choice – it`s safe and it`s fast. Get Google Chrome.
Cafe World Problem – Flash
For a smooth running of Cafe World, Zynga recommends the latest flash. It`s natural, because Cafe World is made in flash. I just checked the latest version of flash and it is 10.0.32.18. Now let`s have a look at another graph:

It`s much better than using of internet browsers, but still 15% doesn`t have the latest version. If you are not sure what version you have, I`d recommend you to go to the Adobe website and download the latest version of flash.
Cafe World Problem – Saving
Many people are complaining about a problem with saving in Cafe World. Interesting is that it is connected with Cafe World expansion for 400k. Apparently, there is some problem between the game and servers, which don`t seem to recognize your cafe after the expansion.
The problem people are having is that they are not able to save their game. I`ve done some research and found out that there is a solution which seems to work. Because I didn`t buy the expansion, I don`t have the experience, but it should work.
To solve the problem with saving your cafe on Zynga`s servers, you need to get back your cafe to the default:
- change the flooring to the default (the wooden floor). Some people say it`s enough to make the floor wooden just at the place where the expansion has taken the place.
- change the wall color to the default (the blue walls). Again, some people say it`s not necessary to do the whole cafe, just the place of the expansion extension.
- visit someone`s cafe and get back
- when you get back, your cafe should be saved after your changes
Let me know in the comments whether this solution of Cafe World problem with savings has solved your problem, or if you`ve figured out something better.
The last day Zynga has made some change, so maybe it`s possible that the problem with saving is not actual anymore.

Thank you for your prompt response. My sister has successfully accessed my Cafe from another computer so it must be something wrong with my PC. I don’t think it’s my Adobe flashplayer as I can successfully play Farmville. I use Internet Explorer which hasn’t changed. My internet connection hasn’t changed either. Can you please suggest anything else that I can start looking at. Thanking you so much.

Try Google Chrome, I’ve been having the best results with this browser. It’s possible that your system had downloaded some updates for Internet explorer which blocked some features of CW. I assume that you’ve already tried to restart your computer, right?

Hello again. Thank you for your suggestions. I have tried Google Chrome and the same thing happens. I have disabled local security (Nortons) and my brother-in-law has created a brand new profile on my PC but I’m still having the same problem. He also rolled back to an earlier version of Adobe Flash Player. And yes I have restarted my computer on many occasions. I just don’t know where to go from here. HELP !!!! Thanking you.

When ever I go to my cafe all the customers leave and don’t come back until I leave. If I click on Edit and click done, there are a bunch of customers, but while I have the game open, no customers come in????

cafe world will not move when i need to move the baord to get to my stoves and then the menu page comes up and i didnt even click on that then the waiter menu comes up and i didnt even click on it,then i cannot even even get stuff from my stoves when i start to cook it freeses up and ihave run ccleaner and run spy ware and also delated cookies and up dated flashplayer too ,not sure what is going on with this game,it takes to long to load also

My cafeworld will not let me cook or click on anything….It seems to be loading fine but none of the tasks are working. I cannot start my next cooking project or finish any of the taks i have started.

My angel cake has locked down after I used it for a while and I had to rely on friends to cook this for a task. Lock is still in place and I cant figure out why.

I’m having trouble when i am playing cafe world .it loads fine,when im playing it loses its connection,then it comes back,but makes me re do goals,don’t give me things i’ve already cooked.when i clear my food from the stove put it on tables it wiil lose it i press ok and it either spoils what i have cooking or it makes me do over.i can’t accomplish my goals and its getting on my nearves.i feel like im waisting my time playing…love the game,want to continue playing,with accomplishments of course.

I managed to get this cafe world working
it seems it’s slow on other browsers and doesnt load apart from opera browser it works but slow
and only browser seems to work fast is google chrome and sometimes that has problems installing on older computer here solution
if some people have problems on there pc
try remove some games clogging hard drive then go into command promt type chkdsk /f then restart computer then then install google chrome worked. shame cafe world doesnt work on other browser ?

Hey, just posting to let everybody know what has been working for me as a workaround for Cafe World in Windows7/Vista. Was having problems with game sitting at the “Refreshing” screen and then never loading.
What we started doing was going into the Command prompt and releasing then renewing our IP addresses on our PCs, as follows:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
note the space between ipconfig and the /release and /renew, so it is really more like ipconfig/release .
This seems to be some poor coding on the network design of the game, and I am also looking into it possibly being an issue with IPv6 PCs tunneling IPv4 to reach the game server, as we have an XP computer that we have no issues with so far. Hopefully this helps at least one person out there, because it has pretty much resolved us being unable to play the game for hours at a time.

ugh. First time posting and didnt realize it would remove my enter and space arguments from the command line parts. After each ipconfig /release and /renew command, you will hit enter, and there is a space between the ipconfig and the /release or /renew.

Not sure why but when Im in cafe World my Chat show only a few people and they aren’t even on. The right side of the screen has changed has popup comments from friends that are on but chat doesn’t move up or down and is different then any of my friends why??? I want it to go back the way it was just like I’d like the avator to go back and look like a person unstand of a droun.

i cant see any of my neighbors bar or anything i have cooked. the cafe seems to big for the page cannot get it smaller. i look at food to cook but cant see arrow to to go left side. i can only cook the first four because it wont move. let me know how to fix the problem. i have tried control + ans _ to make page smaller but nothing happens. thanks

The problem is not IE; it’s Cafe World’s use of Flash! It crashes that one IE tab, and claims I need to have the latest Flash when I do.
If only Cafe World would learn Silverlight.

Hello. My cafe world on facebook is no longer showing any of the numbers at the top of the page. I can not see how much money I have, how many coins or my buzz, nothing at the top. I can not see any worlds on the goals as well. The numbers on my friends at the bottom are gone also. I can’t cook because I’m not sure if I have the money for it and I can’t do any goals because I’m not sure what or how many I am supose to do. Can you help?

My neighbor bar will not move from left to right or visa versa. It is stuck in one place which shows 3 neighbors and 2 “add a friend”.

I am one of the lucky ones to have got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 but not so lucky in that I cannot load cafe world it loads so far gets cafe on display then screen just goes blank and this happens time and again ,please has anyone got a solution for this as I am going crazy
